Super Bowl 51 Preview
Super Bowl 51 is finally here. In just a few hours, the Patriots and Falcons will begin their battle for the Lombardi trophy, and it is sure to be a good one. This is a matchup of high octane offense versus high octane offense, so defense is sure to be at a premium.
The Atlanta Falcons exceeded all expectations this year. Some ESPN "experts" had them finishing the season a brutal 5-11. They did the exact opposite, finishing 11-5 and steamrolling their way to Houston. Julio Jones is a superstar, Matt Ryan is the MVP, and Vic Beasley is leading a young, hungry defense.
Now on to the Patriots: what more can be said about this team? They simply cannot be stopped. The Patriots went 3-1 during Tom Brady's suspension, and didn't look back. Even after losing tight end Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots offense is firing on all cylinders and has rolled over Pittsburgh and Houston in consecutive weeks.
Not much more needs to be said about this game before it actually starts. The Patriots are three point favorites heading into the game, and the points will absolutely be flying.
SouthSide Prediction: Patriots 38, Falcons 27
