As Spring Training begins here are South Side's picks for yearly award winners and World Series champion of the 2017 MLB season.

The obvious picks (Kershaw, Benintendi, Swanson and the Red Sox) are all there. There are some surprise picks such as McCullers and Tanaka however the AL Cy Young award is typically very unexpected. The Al MVP was not as agreeable between the South Side boys as some of the other awards as was the same with the NL MVP. All things considered, this season is certain to be a good one. Every year is filled with surprise award winners. Kershaw hasn't won a Cy Young in a few years. Will he win one this year? Will AL Cy Young be an obvious pick this season or a random breakout star such as most previous years. It's no surprise that the Red Sox and Cubs all have votes as the World Series Champions, though the Nationals are a wild card. Let's see which member of the team has the most accurate predictions.
