Arian Foster vs The Big Bad Wolf
The Big Bad Wolf vs one of the three little pigs. It’s the biggest match since Mayweather vs Manny P. It’s capturing headlines across the country. Yes, Arian Foster thinks he can take a wolf 1 on 1 and if you’re wondering who the other 2 little pigs are they would be Pablo Sandoval and Big Ben Roethlisberger. This is the running back that has had 2 fully healthy seasons out of 7. This is the running back that could tear his ACL if you looked at himy funny. Still, Foster has made a valid case about wolves, completely downplaying how tough those bastards are.
On twitter, Foster has pointed out that wolves do not have opposable thumbs. While this may be true his logic is still flawed. Do you know what else doesn’t have opposable thumbs? Sharks don’t. Hell, they don’t even have hands but you don’t see people winning 1 on 1 against those things. Sorry buddy, but thumbs do not mean dominance. Also, Foster feels as though the weight differential will give him an advantage. While again this may be true, I’m almost positive Foster was tackled by cornerbacks that were a lot smaller than him throughout his career. Come to think of it, a cornerback probably delivered Foster’s frail body a season ending injury at some point in his short career. Those cornerbacks didn’t have razor sharp teeth and claws that would rip through his skin. Chalk up another point for the wolf. Foster is also completely in denial about a wolf’s ability to sense where on his body he is most vulnerable. Do some research and you’ll find out it’s true.
I wouldn’t count the running back completely out though. How many times have we seen a wolf run for 1616 yards and 16 touchdowns in a season? Speaking only for myself here, never. Yes it may have been 7 years ago but still, I guess he has to have some sort of athletic ability remaining in the 4 bones he has yet to break. Also, Foster faintly resembles the child of Kyrie Irving and Drake. Whether that is good or bad, it has to mean something. Do I think he has a legit chance against the Big Bad Wolf? Yes.
