Okay so 30,000 career points is no small feat and I have all the respect in the world for Dirk but Jesus Christ Mark. I understand that it was an exciting thing to see him become only the 6th man in NBA history to reach this milestone but

Cuban's reaction was way over the top. All Dirk did was his job, very well, for a long time. You don't run out into the shop and hug your mechanic for changing your oil extra fast. At the most you give a good tip and maybe a verbal compliment but there's no emotional embrace. Im not saying every player that plays as long as he has reaches 30K but if you were to watch that replay and not know what's going on you'd have thought Dirk just pulled Cuban's son out of a burning building or something. I'd go as far to say that he was fighting back tears, I mean he looks like a teenage girl reacting to her dad buying her a car for her birthday. For God sake you would think Jesus Christ himself rose from center court, hit a buzzer beater and got Kevin Durant to sign with Dallas. Completely over the top and quite frankly embarrassing.
